Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City of Memphis Purchasing Agent, Room 354, City Hall, 125 N. Main, Memphis, TN 38103, until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, for furnishing the City of Memphis with the following:

Firms obtaining documents from the STA Plan Room will be placed on the mailing list for addenda issuance.
Pre-Pid Information:
MANDATORY PRE-BID: A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Fire Station #51 at 5921 Shelby Oaks Drive, Memphis, TN on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 10:00 am. It is mandatory that parties interested in bidding on this project attend this meeting. Failure to attend the pre-bid meeting will count against said “good faith effort” as required by the SBE program.
Project Description:
Project consists of site work required for re-roofing of the Fire Station #51 located at 5921 ShelbyOaks Drive, Memphis Tennessee 38134.
Examination of Site:
Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall personally visit the site of proposed work and arrive at a clear understanding of the conditions under which the work is to be performed. No consideration will beallowed subsequently by reason of error or oversight on the part of the bidder or on account ofinterference by either the City or existing conditions. Neglecting any of the above requirements will notbe acceptable as reason for delay in the work or for adjustments of the contract sum. Bidders mus tmake an appointment with Christina Ortega (Project Manager – City of Memphis at telephone #901-636-4215 to visit the project site.
