Bid shall be mailed or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Dogwood Elementary School ADA Upgrades GMSD BID #FY2020-10” in the lower left hand corner of the envelope and addressed to: Jacqueline Saunders, Procurement Analyst, 3350 South Forest Hill Irene Road., Germantown, TN 38138. If using express mail (FedEx, UPS, Priority Mail, etc.), please place in a sealed enveloped inside the express mail packaging. Bid must be received by GMSD prior to the time indicated.

Project Description:
This project consists of upgrading Dogwood Elementary School to meet applicable accessibility requirements. The accessibility upgrades at the site include upgrades to the walks, public ramps, routes, landings, parking and new signage. Inside the building, new ADA accessible restrooms are being constructed along with adding accessible ramps, signage, door hardware, millwork and drinking fountains.

• Alternate 1 scope is to provide a new entrance lobby, conference room and office as indicated, as specified as required for proper completion of the work.
• Alternate 2 scope is to provide a new fire sprinkler system, including all supporting plumbing modifications; new LED lighting, and new acoustical ceiling systems. Diffusers, speakers and all other items mounted in ceilings shall also be new.
